How it started
Our origin story started with the initiative of our wunderkind CEO, Seethala Karipineni, who was intent on making a difference in the lives of rural women. In 2018, while studying in the 11th grade at Rishi Valley School, Seethala and her peers learned the art of soap-making from their science teacher. They then put their newfound skill to practical use by teaching soap-making to a group of rural women. This snowballed into a social initiative, and more women saw it as a means of empowerment.
What started as a small initiative continued for over two years. These women, with the support of the students, turned their soap-making skills into a sustainable business.
Today, Saka Organics has become a household name with consistent sales and recognition.
The impact of Seethala’s initiative on women’s empowerment echoes in all of us at Saka. Saka Organics is now a thriving business that continues to empower rural women who wish to share the joy of natural, organic, and essential beauty products.
Our journey so far
Fast-forward to 2022, and Saka Organics burst onto the scene. Our dream team has grown remarkably, with a superstar in every role. We retail in more than 50 offline stores and have sold an impressive 31,000 personal care products to date…and counting. Moving our manufacturing into an FDA-approved facility in Kakinada has given us complete control over the quality and safety of our products.
But our vision extends far beyond just sales figures and market share. We aspire to be an accessible premium brand in the natural personal care segment. Our goal is for everyone to experience high-quality, all-natural products.
